Evelyn Brodsky, was born in Eastern Europe (Lviv, Ukraine). Graduated from Lviv College of Applied and Decorative Art, and than from Ukrainian Print Academy, book illustration design.
Illustrated many books for children and adults, cooperated as a freelancer with several publishing houses in Russia and Ukraine.
Some of my works had been presented at international art exhibitions and were purchased by private collectors.
For more than 20 years I have been living in Canada, and I continue my search for the new ways to realize fresh ideas. Experiment and professional background are combined and dominating in my artwork.
The essence of my art is ironical, sometimes satirical and full of sad lyricism.
